Our story

One group, and every guest known by name.

Regent Group Hotels is a privately held hotel group with its home in Gaborone, Botswana. We keep one collection — Regent Select in the city, Regent Kgale in the quiet of Kgale View, and Manong Game Lodge in the bush beyond Lobatse — so that wherever a guest chooses to stay, the standard of care travels with them.

We have grown carefully, property by property, and we have never let the collection outpace the service. Rooms are prepared the way each guest prefers, breakfast is kept to their rhythm, and our teams learn the small preferences that make a stay feel like it was arranged for one person alone — because it was.

Thirty-six Executive Rooms, each with its own kitchenette, so a short visit or a longer stay settles in just as fully as you like — with The Ivy Restaurant and the terrace beside the pool, the gardens, the fitness centre, and the business lounge and meeting rooms for the working hours in between.

Manong Game Lodge

Luxury beyond the ordinary. Nature beyond expectation.

The flagship of the collection. In the bush about seventeen kilometres past Lobatse, Manong takes its name from the vultures that ride the skies here. Forty rooms, a spa and wellness offering, a restaurant and bar, and conference facilities — with game drives, bush dining and quiet evenings around the fire completing the stay.

A hotel group is only ever its people. Ours are the team who remember how you take your morning coffee before you have to say it, the chef who keeps a table quiet for an anniversary, and the guides at Manong who know which bend of the river the game favours at dusk.

Across Gaborone, Kgale View and the bush beyond Lobatse, we hire for warmth and train for craft — then give every team member the time and the trust to look after guests the way they would look after family. It is a quiet way of working, and it is the reason our guests come back.
